    Autumn Sportivate courses for 18-25 year olds

    Places are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis to anyone aged 18 – 25 years old.  

     

    Sportivate Climbing

    Where             OPEN, 20 Bank Plain, Norwich, NR2 4SF

    When              Thursdays 6-7pm on 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th November and 6th December.

    Cost                £5 for six sessions if booked before 18th October, £10 thereafter (normally£35)

    The OPEN climbing course is for any ability and covers a range of different areas.  The course involves rope work, how to use equipment safely, climbing techniques, skills & development, teamwork & trust, understanding of the sport as well as future pathways in climbing.

     

    Sportivate Fitness Yoga

    Where             Hellesdon High School, 187 Middleton’s Lane, Norwich, NR6  5SB

    When              Thursdays 7-8pm on 25th October, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th November.

    Cost                £10 per 6 hourly sessions if booked before 11th October, £15 thereafter (normally£30)

    The class draws on Yoga-based exercises to help improve Strength, Balance, Posture, Flexibility, Body-awareness and Mobility. The emphasis is on sound technique, resulting in increased confidence for the participants. Each class is accompanied by calming background music and concludes with a short relaxation/recovery phase, to aid overall well-being.  The class is open to all abilities.

    The local Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel (SNAP) meeting will take place from 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 12th September at Woodbastwick Village Hall, in the small meeting room.
