On 23 May 2014 from 2 – 4pm an open afternoon at Redmayne View, Housing With Care, Mountbatten Drive, Sprowston is being held. This is supported accommodation for the over 55s.

Taking Action for Wildlife

Drop in between 11am-3pm at Victory Hall and discover how you can help local wildlife. Displays, activities and experts will be on hand to demonstrate how you can encourage wildlife in your garden and help it in the wider countryside. Make a bird box, a minibeast home, bird feeders, paper plant pots and turn your hand to making a natural sculpture. There will be lots to do for both children and adults.

All activities are free. No need to book, just turn-up and join in.

Anglian Water – ‘Flushing’ of the Water Mains within the Parish

Anglian Water will be ‘flushing’ the water mains in this area over the next couple of weeks:

Thursday 7 March 2013, 10pm – 6am: Panxworth covering South Walsham Road, Scotts Corner (Oak Lodge and Scotts Corner House only), Hall Farm and Hall Bungalow.

Wednedsay 13 March 2013, 10pm – 6am: Ranworth

Wednedsay 13 March 2013, 10pm – 6am: Panxworth Salhouse Road, Scotts Corner (except Oak Lodge and Scotts Corner House).

Broadland Children’s Film Festival

If you are looking for something to do with the kids this half term, why not take them to see Madagascar 3 at Acle Recreation Centre at 11am on Thursday 21st February.

Broadland District Council’s Tots 2 Teens run holiday activities for children aged five years upwards. The activities take place during all school holidays throughout the Broadland District and are for children who live or go to school in Broadland. Families can register free of charge to receive all our holiday information, but are required to complete and sign a parent consent form. committee members. The work typically involves

8-9 meetings a year, and helping to organise and

run 6 annual events including the annual fete and
